Also special sale of Rwandan Baskets aid those recovering from the 1994 genocide through a representative of the Rwanda Basket Company which pays weavers up to 60% more that other Rwandan basket weaving programs, and gives all after sales profits to Rwanda Partners, a non-profit organization that provides programs and aid to those recovering from the genocide. Please do not buy them from any other source including department stores until you can get statistics on how much they are paying weavers and where their profits go!
