July and August are typically hotter months! Make sure you have been watering your new plants (and maybe even your existing garden beds) with a hose! Do not rely on a sprinkler system this time of year as they are meant to retain moisture as opposed to fully saturating the soil. Watering with a hose insures that your plants are getting water where they need it most – at the root.
